Our Positions
Account Manager
This role begins with a 3-4 month training period for all new hires to learn the mechanics of how we engage in metrics-based digital campaign management. Highly-structured lessons are followed by task work on real accounts. After demonstrating mastery of the material, Account Managers become the eyes and ears of a small selection of client accounts. They are responsible for the performance, daily execution, data analysis, management, and success of profit driven paid digital campaigns. Under the guidance of an Account Director, the learning continues on ad network management, predictive modeling, account optimization, and performance improvement.
Senior Account Manager
As expertise grows, so does responsibility. Senior Account Managers have demonstrated knowledge and proficiency as Account Managers, and are given additional responsibilities in the areas of training, client communications and management, as they prepare to advance to Senior Digital Account Specialist or Account Director.
Senior Digital Account Specialist
This role is designed to enhance the skills of individuals who want to advance either to Account Director or to further hone their knowledge and proficiency of operations. Senior Digital Account Specialists are assigned 2 clients whom they fully manage themselves, within a team structure, and in coordination with an Account Director. In addition, they spend 1/4 to 1/3 of their time working on advanced, specialized projects to improve and innovate Working Planet’s practices.
Account Director
Coach, mentor, client point-person, strategic consultant. Account Directors lead the Working Planet teams that make things happen. Primary responsibilities focus on client communications and staff oversight and development. Account Directors help translate client goals into action for their teams, and communicate performance and opportunities to clients. Account Directors both create and communicate best practices, and are core members of the teams training new employees.
Directors
Directors oversee multiple teams and are responsible for strategy, communication, best practices, innovation, quality assurance, and more. They coach all levels of staff and provide additional oversight on client performance and strategy, statistical and data analysis, data visualization, and high-level client communication, ad network contact, marketing, and sales. Directors have many years of experience in Working Planet’s metrics-driven approach, and are superiorly-versed in account strategy and tactics. Directors report to the founding partners.
